Powering options like batteries, fuel cells and physical charging stations are environmentally friendly, yet limited in various aspects. The installation of said powering options is expensive and complicated.

THE SOLUTION

The SmartRoad project is an exciting and cost effective innovation that wirelessly recharges smart buses and trucks with electricity – while driving. The first demo was built on Gotland by Electreon with partners. Eitech contributed greatly with its quality assurance and electrical technology expertise. This, to assure that the electric system placed beneath the asphalt met the functional requirements.
